Another retrograde begins this week on July 30. This is the retrograde motion of transiting Chiron stationing retrograde at 27° Aries 09′. If you look at the USA Declaration of Independence chart, Chiron was in Aries then as well. Chiron has roughly a 52 year return cycle, sometimes its 48 years and sometimes it is a bit more than 53 years, but since it is part of the Declaration chart – it is interesting to see how every time Chiron returns to where it was when the USA was declared independent, that many issues around Civil Rights and Scandals enter the headlines.
Since Chiron retrogrades all the way back to 22° Aries 35′ when it goes direct, January 2, 2026, Chiron’s retrograde returns close to the USA Chiron at 21° Aries. It is not there, but it is close enough. Usually this brings a great deal of turmoil regarding actions taken without any strategic planning or format. Remember – Chiron wounds so that one heals. It is in late Aries (the Sagittarius section of Aries), so a vision without a plan or rather a lot of talking without listening to the other side, might be the lessons each of us learn from this passage.
With this last move through the later degrees of Aries along with the beginning of Uranus entering Gemini (only happens every 84 years), revolution or revolutionary ideas or revolutionary chaos that ask for current ideas become part of this future template. Uranus in Gemini suggests revolutions in thinking and problem solving and big job changes that may change the scope of industry but also open new avenues of learning for all the innovative technologies that we do not even see yet.
