Here we are in a completely new cycle as Mars, the motivating plan returned to its original Retrograde position from way back in early December. Can you feel the energy in the air regarding all the things you’ve wanted to get done and just couldn’t? Well, get ready because now Mars is back at 6° Leo and moving forward regaining its energy pushing each of us to get things done in our charts that each of us has been going back and forth about. With this last week’s Mars opposite Pluto (still in play) it is push and shove time to complete tasks that seem daunting but now – doable.
Yesterday’s Pluto retrograde at 3° Aquarius helps. Pluto is retrograde once a year and when it is either retrograde or moves forward in a direct motion – each of us is pushed to make choices. Sometimes very unfortunate things do occur like endings and/or decisions for which the internal debate has seemed interminable. Sometimes we see death, or, legal decisions, or, become suddenly aware of a problem that has been looming – for a very long time – that needs attention. This is the time in which to take charge and do it. Those decisions may cost money since Pluto is also associated with the eighth house of savings and long-term investments.
The markets of the last few weeks are urging us to take a deep dive into researching what is working in your investing or savings portfolio and how to do it better or differently. Working with experienced advisors who are more on the conservative side is encouraged as this year’s markets are not yet determined. There is a lot of experimentation that continues regarding how to approach large problems and challenges and it may take a few weeks to find just the right fit while Mars begins to gain speed and confidence in the area in which it is traveling through your chart.
This week’s Mercury sextile Jupiter offers new learning opportunities that could help you along the way, helping you gain confidence in areas that are new for you. After several weeks of Mercury (the communication planet) being retrograde and finally catching up, it moves to the sign of Taurus, which slows things down, charting a steadier course for about four weeks. Venus finally entered Aries and moved past Neptune and is more ‘awake’ than she’s been in months. The fog is lifting and all of us are seeing things with new eyes and clearer pathways to solutions.
Venus’ ingress into Aries is about clearly identifying what you want to do and what you don’t want to do with relationships and asks for reconnecting to the people or groups you’ve been avoiding or just too darn tired to contact with her retrograde that began in early March. It is a great time to look at what you might do to improve your physical stamina (after all Venus’ entrance into Aries, ruled by Mars) begs for some daily motion and/or if you feel insecure about how much or how little to do – with Mars and Venus, both in fire signs, get those people involved that can assist you – like trainers or body workers.
After several months of working on the three-week Aspects course for Astrology Hub that begins on May 13 (online), if you want to expand your knowledge or tweak your astrological techniques, this course may be just right for you. It meets two times a week. Three Tuesday nights for about two hours and three Thursdays for about two hours. I designed a very visual experience (since that is how we all learn) and if you are unable to attend – your registration will give you the recordings for review. If you are interested, here is the link to register. I hope to see you there starting on Tuesday May 13. www.astrologyhub.com/aspectswithgeorgia
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you. Take time to honor those who have cared for you at some place along the road.
