This week transit Pluto gets back to 2° Aquarius 06’ where it went retrograde on May 2, 2024. Remember my mention of the Torrijos-Carter treaty of December 31,1999, and how transit Pluto is conjoining their natal Neptune? We may (or may not) hear more about the Panama issue as this week unfolds but I am not holding my breath. For all of you, whatever you were experiencing last May – that challenged movement forward by either researching something, exploring a future move without any concrete answers, or working on trying to figure out how to make a job or your business better – and not completely sure – this return of Pluto to that position moves you forward and gets you back on track.
In addition, transit Jupiter goes direct this week – 11° Gemini 16’ and continues through the rest of the sign through June 9, 2025, when transit Jupiter enters Cancer. Jupiter going direct is very good for producing the solution or the help mate or the communication equipment you need to get something done. And this week is a good week to implement whatever you can as Mars is turning direct on February 23 just a few days before, yes, another retrograde, when Venus goes retrograde on March 1 in Aries. Jupiter can be freeing (positive) or overindulgent (challenging). It offers freedom regarding the issues of the house through which it travels as well as the houses it rules (where Pisces or Sagittarius is in your chart). It affords answers that come by engaging your wit and improving your communication skills.
Watch ankles (yes ankles) and trails or sidewalks that are a little wonky this week as transit Chiron is square transit Mars retrograde at 19° of Aries and Cancer. Sometimes we don’t see things coming – during this square – and this could be just as much a job change, a confrontation (Mars), as well as an ankle. Chiron transits can offer hybrid solutions if one is listening to others and not fighting the energy – this is the best way to deal with this energy. The key thing is to push for others hearing what you want to say – and being heard. Sometimes tough when Mars is retrograde and in a challenging aspect.
Finally, this is the week that transit Neptune precisely conjoins the transiting Lunar North Node in Pisces – the markets are moving into some weird territory with this conjunction. Could be sudden news of big mergers (Neptune rules mergers). And now with the Lunar North Node in Pisces and the Lunar South Node in Virgo (the letting go side of this configuration), this might begin a cycle where people are let go from their jobs because of mergers – So what to do? Intuitively if you’ve been thinking of trying something new or different, or, the scuttlebutt is that your job may be ending, listen to that. Begin making plans. If you need to learn something new to enhance your marketability, then take a class, a course, a workshop – something that adds value to your skills. Red flags are your friends. Listen to them. Mars is stationing to go direct on February 23 and helps more forward movement then you’ve realized since December. Two eclipses are coming up in March along with a Venus retrograde. So – this is a window of opportunity to get a project together you’ve been struggling with for a few weeks now. You may surprise yourself ad get it done much faster than you thought you could – if you’ve been doing the work all along anyway.
It may also be time to just take a vacation. That is what I am doing. So, I won’t be seeing you next week. Make some time for you and with North Node and Neptune aligned – start a daily meditation practice, or prayer moment, or walk or hike – something that brings you back to yourself for a few minutes each day – very important during this transition season. And keep the news at a low decibel level.
