We have two big planets looking as though they are going in different directions this week. First on October 9 transit Jupiter is retrograde at 21° Gemini 20’. Wherever this is hitting your chart, is where you may be having second thoughts on how much expansion to do and where to, perhaps, pull in the belt regarding being too scattered with too many promising ideas and once realizing this, making a list of what is most important to accomplish now through when Jupiter goes direct on February 4, 2025.
October 11 is full of surprises as transit Pluto (who moved back to Capricorn on September 1 and has been retrograde) goes direct! Every year when Pluto goes direct, I see this as BIG. Suddenly you are faced with a large decision or choice you’ve put off during the entire time Pluto has been retrograde (that started on May 2, 2024). You clearly see what must change or changes happen for which you are responsible. Hopefully, you have a couple of plan B’s or Cs in place to address this issue. Pluto direct is at the last degree of Capricorn – the critical degree of 29°. Anytime a planet (especially a slow one like Pluto) is at the last degree and is in a direct motion, the floodgates open – events quickly change, reparations are required, and the laws (Saturn rules laws) change or are challenged.
Pluto is also an incredibly creative energy and anything you’ve been thinking of doing, which may have started as far back as February 2023 and December 2023 when Pluto was last at that critical degree of 29° Capricorn says, ‘all systems go’. If you’ve been clearing the space for the new and letting go of the extraneous, you find yourself in the catbird seat now for making things happen – and be ready – because they could happen very fast – so pay attention – envision what you want. I think you might be very surprised.

As transit Mars continues through Cancer this month and moves past the opposition to Pluto on November 1, 2024, you clean out the underbrush of your professional and personal lives – making decisions that move you forward – and with Jupiter continuing its retrograde- inside of that are many ideas or problem-solving options requiring a review during this time – what are the best options now?
