Have you been feeling restless, unfocused, but also interested in so many things that your interest in those things feels like a bumble bee going from flower to flower – remaining only a moment and then moving on? Welcome to the club because several planets in the sky are now in the sign of Gemini. The fact that Jupiter has also now entered Gemini, pushes the envelope in terms of curiosity and the inability to focus. This can be frustrating for those who like a more structured day or life.
Gemini does have its purpose in the zodiac. That purpose is problem solving, communicating correctly – or the opposite, lying. Gemini has a dual nature, and bottom line is studying information and processing it. The restlessness of several planet in Gemini this week is tempered by the stress aspect between Mercury (ruling Gemini) and Saturn (in Pisces). This is a wonderful week to focus on one contract, on writing project, on editing something and sticking with it until it is done.
The ability to put ones focus on getting something done, or, at least researched is also there as transiting Mars went into Taurus this week and is stressing Pluto in early Aquarius. Mars square Pluto is often compulsive obsessive in its expression and often eruptive. The better way to work with this week’s Mars square Pluto is to research something you’ve been wondering about, or calculate figures for a budget, or clean out your office space, or triage the most important things that need doing now.
These types of activities create the necessary grounding necessary when there are many planets in tropical Gemini. Think before you speak, take a pause, and know that things feel even more amplified because Neptune has now moved to the last degree of Pisces creating a miasma of confusion with information coming at us from all directions. And this shift of Neptune at the last degrees of Pisces is staying with us for a while. Over this next year I am doing different lectures about the last degrees of Pisces as well as several other outer planets that are changing signs in this next year.
