The next two-week forecasts may be a little shorter than usual. I am on a family trip to Italy until the 10th of May. With that said, I am sharing this week’s highlights while away. One of the biggest things happening this week is transiting Pluto looks as though it is slowing down and goes retrograde on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 2° Aquarius 06’. Obviously, Pluto doesn’t move that far each year – only about 2° – and what this means is that for ONE MORE TIME ONLY – it will go all the way back to late degrees of Capricorn on September 1, 2024, and remain there until October 11, 2024, at 29° Capricorn 38’, when it moves direct.
On November 19, 2024, it finally transits back into Aquarius where it remains for about 20 years. This final push starts this week as Pluto stations retrograde, revealing endings, choices, and frankly some harsh realities. Closures begin as Pluto stations retrograde in businesses as well as relationships that have been struggling to find resolution. Now the work begins on how to make things work in the best way possible for all parties concerned.
In the news we may hear of unseemly business practices that took place in this last year that are now revealed and how to change business practices for these things not to happen again may be the path over the course of the next few months that take us all the way to the end of the year. Remember, we do learn from loss as well as closures and endings. And we do see what we learned after the reality of that ending begins.
This time is revelatory. Revelations are karmic in scope, particularly with Pluto returning to Capricorn and being ruled by Saturn as is Aquarius in some circles. Saturn requires responsible actions and where irresponsibility is rampant, repercussions and consequences follow. This is the theme this week as Pluto stations to go retrograde at week’s end.
With that said, the week begins with Venus entering her own sign Taurus, which is one of my favorite transits of Venus. She is comfortable in Taurus and offers soothing energies that may have erupted since the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction of April 20, 2024. Venus loves being in Taurus and a way to work with her is get back to nature. Plant something in the garden, get a massage, rethink colors in your work or home environment, shut off electronics and cook something. These simple tasks help alleviate the stresses of the days ahead as Pluto stations retrograde. I wish those who celebrate Passover – a calm Passover and to my fellow Greeks and Orthodox individuals, a blessed Orthodox Easter this week.
