Micro-Forecast: April 8 to 14, 2024

April 8, 2024

Today, Monday, is the day of the TOTAL Solar Eclipse at 19° Aries 24’. Following are the times at which it occurs all over the world:

April 8, 2024:

  • San Francisco, CA, 11:40 AM
  • Beijing, China, 1:40 PM
  • Chicago, IL, 1:40 PM
  • Milwaukee, WI, 1:40 PM
  • Washington DC, 2:40 PM
  • Johannesburg, South Africa, 8:40 PM
  • Kyiv, Ukraine, 9:40 PM

April 9, 2024:

  • Pyong Yang, Korea, 3:40 AM
  • Sydney, Australia, 4:40 AM

As mentioned last week, sometimes we don’t see the results (i.e., the reality) until about 90 days after the eclipses, which is around mid-July 2024, which happens to be the time of the Republican Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin between July 15, and July 18, 2024. The chart for the Republican Convention appears to be volatile which is an understatement. The Democratic Convention takes place in Chicago between August 19 and 22, 2024, a month after the Republican Convention.

When looking at today’s eclipse chart for Washington DC, the Mercury retrograde and the eclipse and Chiron are all focused on the 9th house, which has to do with international affairs, public relations, one’s philosophy – whether personal or collective. With this strong aspect taking place in the 9th house of foreign involvements, the extremes of change are and will be seen going forward. Extremely different views and extremely different positions will be in the news particularly through the next six months and this conjunction begins to get comfortable in its positioning.

The chart of this Total Eclipse is a BUNDLE. There are planetary patterns in astrology. One of the rarest ones, in my opinion, is Bundles. This is when all the planets are all within a 90° distance of each other – throwing the horoscope out of balance in a matter of speaking. The unbalanced distribution of this chart pushes a very individualistic response to matters. The challenge is that a Bundle needs to learn how to invite others towards more cooperative efforts. Bundle charts are not known for doing that until a level of maturity is achieved.

If individual is born with a Bundle chart, they are focused on only those things in which they have interest. They become very good at knowing what they know and the struggle is relating to others because of the intensity of the Bundle. Bundles skew things. They play out as either/or scenarios. Until the eclipse dissipates, we have this kind of energy in every corner of our lives.

For the rest of us, this eclipse is asking us to try to work it out with others in our primary relationships and take a hit for the team so that something is resolved over the course of the next few months. If you fast forward to July 15, about 90 days after this eclipse, that chart is a SPLAY chart, another rare one, known for its ‘rugged individualism’. It sounds as though today’s eclipse in a Bundle pattern is the same as July’s Splay, but it isn’t.

The Bundle can expand its horizons by meeting people, talking to others, and inviting others into their narrow circle. They have a choice. In exactly 90 days things change and we have a Splay configuration. It is a different animal. It does not conform – so we may see a different energy exhibited at the Republican convention in July with unexpected and volatile events.
