The lunar eclipse is at 5° Libra today. The Sabian symbol for this degree is: “The ideals of a man abundantly crystalized.” Ideals – that is a lovely word – and falls in the same category as values – what values are being challenged now during this Full Moon eclipse in wide opposition to mentor Chiron (discussed extensively last week)? Is it time to state what you can do and what you can’t do with those primary relationships and/or change your behavior response mechanism to something completely different than your usual response?
This eclipse is in what we call an antiscia position with transiting Neptune – which is in late Pisces now and suggests that a great deal of confusion or indecisiveness could surround you, particularly if you are pushing to find fast answers, something that challenges Libras – the issue of indecisiveness. This is not a new challenge for Libras or wherever you find Libra in your chart. There is another way to work with this ‘foggy’ energy and go with it. Rather than demanding an immediate answer or strategy (Air) allow yourself to dream in a way that suspends judgments. The air quality of Libra is unbounded and since it is in a positive wide aspect (good) to transit Pluto, this can elicit powerful imagery that brings the form or outcomes to you. Just don’t judge your thought processes.
Lunar eclipses are a wonderful time to make a mind map, a treasure map, or little drawings or sketches or make lists – whatever works for you as to ‘how’ you see a future situation, a home, a job, a relationship, or an environmental change. The key thing is not to judge as the eclipse peaks at around 3 pm Eastern Time. The hours after the eclipse are good for taking your imagination for a walk and getting some fresh air or a great nap and allowing the processing to unfold.
For those celebrating Easter this coming weekend – think about making this week an event that offers you a personal resurrection from parts of your life you no longer wish to inhabit.
