Micro-Forecast: August 21 to 27, 2023

August 21, 2023

Did you take a break last week? Did you think about how to reconfigure an idea or project that’s been stumping you? If so, then this is the time to start putting together the ‘plan’ since Mercury begins its stationary retrograde (a good thing) in its own sign Virgo starting this Wednesday August 23. Put the imagination to work on Tuesday when Venus and Jupiter are square each other – and Mars and Neptune are opposite each other… Tuesday offers a few moments in the morning, to leave your workplace, and sit with a comfortable drink, no distractions, and write down some insights you’ve had that may need a bigger plan. This starts the ball rolling as the next few weeks put Mercury in retrograde position and just as it starts that, it is trine (good aspect) Uranus. I often liken this trine as the ‘what if we did it this way?’ aspect. Since this is going to happen a couple of times during the Mercury retrograde, you get more than one day to decipher a pattern that works for your insights.

And because both Mercury goes retrograde on Wednesday August 21 and then its buddy, Uranus, stations retrograde at 23° degrees Taurus on Monday, the 28th of August, you could find ideas bubbling up with more of an ability to start to set things into place as the Sun enters Virgo (also ruled by Mercury) on Wednesday, too. And as the week comes to an end, the ability to line up what is most important on your list, is available to you, as the Sun in Virgo will be opposite disciplined Saturn by week’s end. It may feel as though there are way too many details by the end of the weekend, but, no worries, as Mars enters gentler and more mediating Libra on Sunday, it brings a little air (ideas or concepts) into the mix of projects that must be acknowledged. Get some rest and then throw in a little disciplined time to walk or swim or move your body so that the ideas can flow more freely through your less stiffened body, which sometimes happens when we see Saturn opposite a planet. If you need to sign up for a physical and check things out you’ve been debating, then do it, and try to do it in the next few weeks while several planets are retrograde getting you to the bottom of what’s bothering you on a much deeper and uncomfortable level.

I wanted to say thank you to the many people that have booked private appointments. I am very happy to help whom I can. As mentioned earlier in the quarter, I only take a few a week, so there has been a long wait for appointments. I am still developing classes for a new project I hope to launch here in mid-2024, thus the limited appointment scheduling. Check our Shop as I have uploaded recently presented lectures on Zoom if you are unable to attend them in person.
