Three important items for this week. First, Mars which went retrograde in Gemini last fall, then went direct this January, reaches its retrograde position on Wednesday of this week. This is its shadow position, and, simply put, places Mars back on track for mental motivation and problem solving. Confusion gives way to clarity as we move further into the month. Mars in Gemini, in a direct motion, can cause a lot of mental restlessness and sleeplessness and tends to scatter the mind. My hope is as it completes its cycles in Gemini (goes to Cancer March 25), we feel more centered. Though Mars continues in Gemini until March 25, this suggests opportunities to tie up loose ends.
The second important part of this week is that Venus, the goddess of love, comfort and pleasure, enters her own sign of Taurus on Thursday. During the 2 days before it shifts to Taurus, it is in Aries in a hard aspect to Venus. This could push limits, create power struggles with authority figures, all not helpful. Major decisions about security, money, income could be part of the conflicts. Suggestion: Back off. Step away, take a break, get a walk, and then come back and revisit it on Saturday when Mercury (communication) and Pluto (investments) are in harmonious aspects to each other.
The third important point is that Jupiter, good fortune, and Chiron, which yearns to heal long standing wounds, are aligned in a conjunction at 14° Aries. This only happens about every 13 years, the last time occurring in 2009 when they conjoined at 26° Aquarius. This is ironic since transit Saturn just passed that degree on March 5 and 6. A conjunction in Aries is always about taking risks and with Chiron in the mix, there is a solution afoot. The solution combines an old, structured way of doing things with something new, not done before that is untested. It requires a more progressive path requiring some planning and research time.
Where this is occurring in your chart, is where you’ve been going back and forth about what to do since last July, 2022, trying to figure out a way to have one thing while incorporating something else. You may not have the answer right away because this is a NEW cycle. Think about the changes in technology, changes of network access in your personal lives as well as in business. These all began at the last Jupiter/Chiron conjunction in 2009. It may be time to move in a new direction while incorporating your success along with what you learned in this last cycle. What new vistas are worth exploring? Don’t do it alone. Aries likes doing it alone. Others are there to help you. It is time to step away from a lot of self-involvement (Aries) and invite collaboration. Some may say no, but many may say yes.
