This week we enter the Last Quarter phase of the Moon, the cleaning out cycle for the month and what a month it has been and then on to the New Moon at 29 Aquarius on Saturday February 18 just before the Sun enters Pisces. This gives us a period for about the next 28 days to finish things we have been struggling with for almost two- and one-half years now! Yes, it is that time. We finally have Mercury direct and back on track, we have Jupiter back on track from where it went retrograde last year, and the wheels of change are moving us forward.
Tuesday’s Mercury (communications) is in an adverse aspect to Uranus – this means one of two ways to go with this. I opt for the more positive which is to find the idea and start acting on it, researching it and finding out if it is viable. The other option is to find yourself during confrontations that are needless and only happening because people involved in the moment are frustrated about other things and need a place in which to vent. Be careful around driving or bicycling – it is not you, but it could be others experiencing emotional short circuits with this aspect.
Thursday gives us a much nicer aspect to Mercury, and it is with Mars, the cosmic motivator. Is there someone who you know that is great at pep talks and whom you may need right now for that extra push to find your footing in what has seemed like an untenable and difficult decision since Mars first went retrograde last September and October?
With Venus and Neptune together on Wednesday, some imagination could be employed to figure out the parts you have not been able to discern. Dreams, meditation, a quiet walk alone to think, or even taking a break from a highly stressful problem and watching a movie or listening to music may help in finding the answer. Thursday’s Sun and Saturn conjunction pushes you to make real the dream you had in the last few days.
Authority figures may seem a little stiff or unbending, because of the Sun/Saturn conjunction. Just give them and yourself some time to sort through what is preventing a decision and do not push. They will lock in their heels further, but if you back off a bit, you might be surprised by Friday or Saturday as the conditions shift and sort themselves out.
I look forward to teaching the Astropaedia School in Athens, Greece, this coming Friday, February 17, 2023. I will be teaching an astrological technique. I do speak fluent Greek but do need a translator to ‘speak’ astrological language. But give me a cup of coffee and a discussion on anything NOT astrology and I can speak Greek with the best of them, but not ‘astrologese’ – quite ironic really. Another example of accepting what you can and cannot do… Have a great week!
