Micro-Forecast: December 5 to 11, 2022

December 5, 2022

Over the years, I’ve talked about what we call the Galactic Center whose range is between 27 and 29 degrees of Sagittarius. A little illustration of where this falls in our solar system will provide an insight into this week’s events and other on and off events throughout the month of December. On the zodiacal belt are the two constellations, Scorpius (Scorpio) and the Archer (Sagittarius). The Archer is pointing an arrow at the heart of the Scorpion, which is one of the four royal stars (named Antares). The Galactic Center lies somewhere in between the point of the arrow and the heart of the Scorpion. Simply put, anytime planets pass through the Galactic Center (many of which occur each December), things happen quickly often without warning.

As the week begins, Mercury, representing communications, agreements, sales, commerce, traders, trading, gossip, short trips, is passing over this point. Things can change quickly when Mercury passes through this space. Trips might suddenly change because of inclement weather; contracts are either delayed or change direction or interpretation and checking the wording is important. Virtual meetings provide insights and innovative ideas never thought of before and/or connections can be made very quickly by running into someone you haven’t seen in a while. That usually is NOT a coincidence.

Either way it is fast. Watch driving and operating machinery because everyone moves quickly. Add extra addresses on envelopes or packages in snail mail in case the labels get ripped off in transit. Sudden news comes where political and non-political figures’ circumstances change on a dime. As various planets move from late degrees of Sagittarius to early degrees of Capricorn, there are a few days here and there where things could change suddenly offering surprises when least expected. Being flexible is key. Tuesday Mercury enters Capricorn, providing a more cautious approach to problem solving as the week unfolds.

This week’s Full Moon on Wednesday December 7 pushes the quixotic energies even further because the Full Moon lines up with Mars, pushing the envelope of your patience even though Mars is still retrograde. The push is still there, but with gentle nudges, moving more intuitively and less physically. The ‘push’ message is for getting something done on ‘the list’ even if it is one or two items. Watch your temper, your words, and responses especially in personal relationships because on Thursday and Friday, Venus, the goddess of relationship and desire, is also crossing the Galactic Center, moving into Capricorn late on Friday, calming things down substantially.
