Micro-Forecast: November 7 to 13, 2022

November 7, 2022

Forgive me for my big Mars retrograde OOPS last week where we ‘thought’ we had a forecast submitted and we obviously did not. These kinds of OOPSes sometimes happen if a slower planet like Mars, which rules motivation, movement, action, and taking charge start to look as though they are in a backwards movement in the sky. Since Mars is retrograde (until mid-January 2023) in the sign of communications, Gemini, then I humbly beg your forgiveness for my literary misstep. However, as luck would have it, I am also preparing for the Weekly Weather Report for Astrology Hub for the week of November 21 to November 27, 2022 and discovered a few juicy items that I’d like to discuss over the coming weeks. Since I will be one of the twelve teachers for Astrology Hub in 2023, this is a little intro presentation that you might find interesting. https://astrologyhub.com/weeklyastrologicalweather/

First, let’s stick with Mars. Mars is not only retrograde but what we, in the biz, call out of bounds. Out of bounds is when a planet moves either north or south of the equator past 23° 27’ which also happens as far as the Sun can go. Mars is one of the planets that can do that.

We all know what rules are, at least we used to when we were in school. Whenever a planet flies out of bounds, it doesn’t necessarily follow rules. Usually, planets are moving in a direct motion when this happens, but we do have those anomalies (like now) where Mars is out of bounds but retrograde. This could work in our favor as we search for ‘out of the box’ solutions for continuing communication or mechanical or strategy problems. A retrograde Mars is a bit softer in its expression. Sometimes, I see it as more Venusian while it is doing this, a bit more open and inviting. Eventually, however, it does go direct, which will be in January 2023, and it could return to ‘fierce’ expression, then, but not before we see or solve or figure out a different approach to an ongoing issue. Remember, this is a period of discovery and finding things out, for reviewing plans we have, while repairing those items that help us in our communication strategies.

With all that said, Tuesday November 8, which is Election Day in the USA, is also a TOTAL Lunar Eclipse (super Full Moon) at 16° Taurus. The fact that this eclipse is aligned with Uranus, the planet of surprises, unconventional or revolutionary expression, suggests there could be some big surprises if not on Election Day but discovered or revealed quite clearly about 90-days later around early February 2023. Because the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon (always a Full Moon position of the Earth), it feels as though the rubber band is getting a super cosmic stretch with this eclipse on Uranus, which can also present sudden separations, awakenings, or chaos in the marketplace. Life may not feel as though it is under control at this juncture, but the fact that Mars is retrograde, looking around, out there in the out of bounds areas, for new strategies to change the trajectory of our lives, to me, is at least hopeful. Bottom line: As a personal event, take charge of your life, eliminate costs that are strangling you, review budgets and spending, and include a realistic review of your value system – has it changed? Why has it changed? And what are you going to do about this new insightful change?
