Happy Yom Kippur on October 4. The meaning behind this holiday is that it is a day of atonement. This is a perfect week for this as transit Pluto, retrograde since April 29, finally goes direct on Saturday October 8. When Pluto goes direct each year along with the days preceding it, we face choices that are not always easy. Decisions are made which reveal sudden insights regarding the past and part of moving forward is forgiving and apologizing and being honest about what needs to be revealed.
These choices are preceded by deep soul searching of what we’ve done for ourselves as well as others in the year and how, if we care to transform circumstances, this is the week in which being bold and brave act positively in our favor.
Since Mercury is now direct and in a good communication aspect to Pluto, research, curiosity, and exploration are on the menu. Thursday’s positive aspect pushes you to make that phone call that might change things forever or that letter or note that may right something, which has been delayed because of this obstacle or that lack of time. This is a great week to ‘sell’ the idea, to give the benefits of what you offer and what you can and cannot do. This is the week to ask for what you are worth and to back it up with facts and figures.
With the Full Moon in Aries on Sunday, October 9, Mars, which rules action and motivation, works beautifully with this Full Moon. Collaborations seem possible and with Saturn also in a great configuration with this Moon, the structure of how to go about that challenging idea or project starts its big reveal. More on this later when Saturn goes direct in two more weeks. In other words: There is progress this week. It may seem too slow for that Full Moon in Aries, so rather than be impatient – think strategic. Use your head.
