Everyone complains about Mercury retrogrades and this week is no exception. The common view is that these are indeed troubled times. However, this Mercury retrograde in Virgo is bearing some fruit as it is in a positive aspect to Uranus in Taurus and when it goes direct in early October will be in a positive aspect to Pluto. This is a signature of frustration, of course, it IS a retrograde. But…this is also a signature of getting things done as though your life depended upon it. The planets interaction with each other drives you, or your group, or your company to ‘get it done.’ There is even a good possibility that a money-making venture appears.
Sudden positive associations might appear to help this effort as the week begins. Venus, also in Virgo, is in a positive aspect to Uranus and this is a meet/cute of chemical energy for either a personal or professional relationship. The next three days the Sun travels through Virgo and then on Thursday, September 22, is the Autumn Equinox (equal day and equal night) as the Sun enters tropical Libra.
The last few days of any seasonal quarter (this is one of those weeks) often feel as though we are going faster and faster and can’t seem to catch up with ourselves. This frantic energy often takes its toll on our sleep patterns, and, once it shifts to a cardinal, action sign like Libra, things are less worrisome and moving into an action mode. With the Sun in Libra, it is more subtle, more social, and far easier to find the right words to communicate what you are really trying to say in person or in a marketing context as well as a more lucid educational plan. The New Moon, which starts the action for the month, is at 3° Libra on Sunday, September 25. This date marks Rosh Hashanah which begins at sundown.
