The week begins with the Sun entering tropical Virgo for four weeks. Interesting fact, the constellation of Virgo is one of the largest constellations in the sky. Virgo hearkens back to all the mother goddesses like Kwan Yin, Black Madonna, Mary, Jesus’ mother, you name it. This is also the time of year in the northern hemisphere, where we get ready for harvest as the end of summer is fast approaching. Usually, Virgo’s time is a time when we clean out the garden, start putting things in jars for storage or storing things in garages and/or purging items to give to others less fortunate.
This is all true but there may be a lot more intense activity during these next weeks as the planet Mars entered Gemini last weekend and is in hard aspect to the Sun in Virgo, pushing us more than usual to finish things begun earlier in the summer. Since Mercury rules Virgo (as well as Gemini) ideas birthed and shared go a long way as Mercury and Pluto are in a great aspect to each other throughout the week.
Ideas are there but the ‘how’ of getting those ideas to market is the challenge, especially since Uranus retrogrades on Wednesday August 24 at 19° Taurus and doesn’t turn direct until we get over to January 22, 2023 at 15° Taurus. Uranus is the natural ruler of the 11th house of community and friends and those who support our causes. With it going retrograde this week, this offers a wonderful period in which to ‘rethink’ all the above groups mentioned and whether to cultivate them further and/or decide whether those groups are in line with your current values – a key issue when living our lives and attempting to manifest our dreams. Others matter. With whom we spend time makes all the difference between success and failure, our happiness as well as our sadness. The New Moon at 4° Virgo on Saturday August 27, kicks off the ‘fresh start’ cycle of this next month. Constructive conversations target resolutions.
