The week begins with the conjunction between Saturn and Venus at 22° Aquarius. Saturn is about duty and work and getting things done. Venus wants to play and loves ideas. These two work well when building a structure or organizing a new idea you’ve been debating. Saturn is the more practical of the two and will encourage you to take the time (Saturn) to calculate different approaches to a challenge. Venus in the sign of Aquarius often produces an idea that is out of the box and unique. These two planets offer alternate solutions traditional thinking.
I have Venus in Aquarius and that does not mean that I produce alternate solutions immediately but sometimes I do. Example: A few months ago, while I was still in my home in California it was November and cold! The cost of heating has gone up so much that I was trying to be frugal about the heat and keeping the thermostat low – then one day – I do not know when I put it together that I had solar panels and why was I not using those lower cost resources to get warm with space heaters? The panels had been there for two years – why – oh why – did I wait so long to figure this out?
Though it took a while to figure this out, I did change. Next time – I will get the answer more quickly because I now have the experience. Sometimes it takes time to come to a solution that is far more workable, but you must make time available for your brain to process ideas. This is how Saturn (time) and Venus Aquarius (alternate ideas) work together. Be available to solve problems.
The current transit of Saturn in Aquarius is not an easy transit for any of us. Since Saturn is the planet that rules traditional work, career, life directions and it is still in Aquarius for at least another year, the ‘way’ of working in the world is changing but it is not changing as rapidly as we would like it to change. It is, however, changing all of us as we work virtually and more frequently. This change creates a healthier balance between work and living and, of course, changes the top-down management styles where the person in charge has all the say.
These changes offer workers more input into the process of change in a work environment. So, if you are in that transition of trying to figure out where you are going with your work – please be patient – sometimes things take a little longer to unfold as we are still moving through a time where technology is growing in a way that will accommodate many of us in our professional lives. A recent show talked about the number of people that used things like Zoom before the Pandemic. That number was 1 in 67. After the Pandemic, the new number was 1 in 7! Now that is a big jump!
The New Moon at 12° Aries occurs this Thursday March 31 and it is conjunct Chiron who is often associated with holistic practices, coaching, teaching, and hybrid type designs (see Business Astrology 101 where I discuss this). This signals a month of innovative ideas that have a hybrid quality. We know lots of company are using hybrid teams for their work force now. Schools are doing this model as well. How else can we use it? Remember that Jupiter is moving through Pisces very quickly and in mid-May Jupiter (luck) enters Aries…This week’s New Moon is providing fresh thinking and suggestions of new things that are remarkably close and on the horizon. We may not have all the answers quite yet – patience and curiosity and being ready for the time is right is what this next monthly cycle is about.
