As Mercury stations to go direct next week on February 3, this suggests a week of great ideas beginning to surface. There is a wonderful card deck to which I sometimes defer. I pulled a card for ‘idea week’ and this is the card:

So, what are you thinking really? Have you had some great ideas show up that you didn’t mark down, or you simply forgot? This is a year in which to make sure you change that pattern…because lots and lots of inspiring information is coming in this year if you just pay attention to it. I had a teacher years ago (another one) who used to say that ‘when you get an idea and it inspires you, then do something about it, within 48 hours after you have the idea’. Even if you just look up information to find out if it is even viable. By doing this, you are connecting with the universe (yes, I really mean that) and the universe directly plugs into you. We get these insights all the time and half of us ignore them or don’t have time to explore them or really aren’t paying any attention because they are too distracted by distracting things. With Mars traveling through Capricorn, this is exactly the motivational energy you need to push through.
As the next few weeks fly by, be prepared for the mid-February 90-day period AFTER the November 19 eclipse in Scorpio. This is usually a wake-up call for seeing what needs to change and who can help you with those change. Go for it. The continuing challenge between security and freedom of thought and safety and risks is accelerating and creating polarities that may sometimes be difficult to surmount. And they can be difficult if we reframe our polarized thinking and realize – THERE IS A BIG MIDDLE! Nothing is ever either/or and positive changes only happen over small increments of valuable time and thought. New information and insights start popping in here and there as Mercury turns direct on February 3 and then catches up with itself on February 25, moving all of us closer to the end of the incubation that began sometime last fall.
