In two days, Jupiter enters its own sign of Pisces, where it briefly hung out in May and early June of 2021. Jupiter loves being in Pisces as Jupiter is the classical ruler of Pisces and Neptune is the modern ruler. Jupiter arrives at Pisces every 12 years – so all of you who have a lot of Pisces in your charts are due for a year of opportunity (if you wish it) to free yourselves of old burdens and find new ways in which to express what your soul desires. This doesn’t mean that for all the other signs of the zodiac, this isn’t possible, because Jupiter will travel through one area of your chart (your life) for an entire year. The old cycle of Jupiter and Neptune from spring of 2009 is finishing up. During that time, it was at late degrees of Aquarius, and we’ve seen lots of changes in just a few short years.
If you recall 2009 was the year after the global meltdown and this is when the last conjunction took place. Of course, it had a very different energy – it was in an Air sign with Neptune, which did spur many new ‘ideas’ often associated with air as well as virtual platforms that we see prospering and evolving in these last years. This next cycle, however, is in Pisces, a water sign, which is more of an intuitive, internal processing energy. My hopes, frankly, is that people, regardless of their spiritual beliefs, will return to some spiritual practices as I think that is the salve that will soothe the savage energies rampant these days. The key thing to remember is that since we are in the last few months of the 2009 cycle, there is a winding down of what we learned and where we expanded our horizons during that time. The next few months are about going inside and thinking about what still needs to be minimized and released allowing us to be ‘dressed for the cosmic party’ in the next few months.
With Venus and Pluto in retrograde right now – take the time – step away from the technology – read books, articles, go through drawers, photo albums (yes those used to be a thing) and reconnect with those that suddenly come to mind – that is not a coincidence.
