This week transiting Mars is squaring (stressing) that Full Moon Lunar Eclipse of May 26, 2021 at 5◦ Sagittarius. Mars continues pushing that eclipse and the June 10 eclipse all the way through the end of this month. Mars has always been associated with motivation, making decisions, moving forward, and cutting away that which doesn’t work. Mars is the planet that prunes the trees, that provides the tools for strategic moves and tools that enhance the strategic planning often required if one is going to move forward with a new plan. Mars in Virgo is a technically based Mars, perfectionistic in its expression and, frankly, not always that patient with those less proficient. In short, even though changes are in the works all month, patience is required for those people who learn differently and cannot think in the detailed way that Mars in Virgo is known for.
It is quite opposite, for example, Mars in Pisces, which is inspired to try something because of an idea, a concept, an inspiration. Mars in Virgo would do well to engage this opposite viewpoint because sometimes they can get too myopic, and this can create lots of anxiety especially as Mars in Virgo throughout the month of August is stressing those eclipses in June. Changing things is in the works for this month and, again, it might be a good idea to work with others who think less myopically as you venture forward. As the old saying goes, it takes all kinds.
The week starts out with a lovely aspect between Venus and Uranus, bringing potential partners in to help with the group effort. The trick is to navigate through the rest of the week as Mercury (which can be fussy when challenged by Uranus) on Tuesday and the Sun also challenged by Uranus on Friday, bring in very different viewpoints and opinions. The suggestion is to listen as this is the Last Quarter Moon of the month and things are dying down anyway. The New Moon on Sunday August 8 is at 16◦ Leo and promises for a clearer, smoother direction after it begins the new cycle.
