Micro-Forecast: March 1 to 7, 2021

March 1, 2021

The week may start out slowly and as we move into late evening Wednesday March 3, Mars (the planet of action and impulse) escalates into a highly active and mentally anxious Gemini for a few weeks. Mental pace picks up along with the potential for easy distraction.

The good news is that there are a lot of communications offering more animation and delight. Thoughts move in and out as we go from one directed idea to another much like a bee flits from one flower to another. There are moments of brilliant solutions and insights and since things move so quickly, make a note of that thought before it flits away as quickly as it wandered in. Mars in Gemini can easily distract especially when driving a vehicle because the mind is moving 100 miles an hour. When either operating equipment and hurrying to complete a job or sending off a quick retort in a text are best stopped for a moment before taking an impulsive action.

Successful problem solving is in the air. On Thursday March 4, Mercury, who rules Gemini, best expresses itself through sales, through negotiating, and connecting people is finishing its third and final alignment with Jupiter. This has been going on since January 11 and is reaching its complete cycle.

Usually, Mercury lines up with Jupiter only once-a-year conjunction. Since Mercury was retrograde this year, these two have danced with each other since January 11 and are finishing their dance in these last few days. The two are back on course and the time for thinking is over and acting is here.

This year’s Mercury/Jupiter conjunction is positive and purposeful. It promises positive outcomes if you are willing to put the time and the work in (because Saturn is part of this configuration). If you team up with others who know how to do the details with which you are not familiar, then success is promised.

This is a great week for that special sales pitch, for your big idea and putting together a program where you present ideas to others helping them wake up to their own potential and at the same time assist you in your own or your organization’s potential .

On Wednesday March 10, I am presenting an online lecture for SCAN in San Diego.

What Happens When the World Changes?

The three synodic conjunctions of 2020, and 2021’s Last Quarter square between Saturn and Uranus continue to change the way we look at our lives, both personally and professionally. Vast limitations have led to many complications for those stuck in the old way of thinking. For those individuals as well as companies who are more adaptable and open to change, new opportunities and options in various industries are possible. Georgia Stathis, a professional astrologer since 1977, and one of the teachers at Kepler College in the Undergraduate Program is author of Business Astrology 101 and her new Pushing through Time: Synodic Cycles and their Developing Phases, explores different techniques she uses in ascertaining how to ‘look’ at the world of finance and business with fresh eyes and new perspectives. If we use different techniques to look at the same thing, we can come up with a game plan for what’s next.
