Over the weekend, we had a lovely alignment between Jupiter (good fortune) and Mercury (communications). If someone has been trying to set up an appointment with you or you with them, this might be the week in which you finally connect. This is perfect because on Saturday February 20 Mercury goes direct at 11◦ Aquarius…although we feel it turning two days prior which beckons confirmations and decisions on contracts and agreements as well as some ideas from the last few weeks. The Sun enters tropical Pisces on Thursday February 20. This is the last passage of the Sun through the entire zodiac before Spring Equinox on March 20 when the Sun begins its annual walk starting with the first sign of the zodiac Aries. Still, we have four weeks as the Sun transits Pisces and the next four weeks are the 90 days after the very intense eclipses of November 30 and December 14.
90-days are equal to the geometric angle of 90◦ which is an angle of change, of release, of letting go. The 90◦ adds up to the number 9 (9+0=9). As I tell my business astrology classes the number 9 is the same number as the Hermit in the traditional Tarot. There are two ways to view that card which shows a monk carrying a lantern with his back to you. The question then becomes, “Is he walking away from you?” or “Is he towards the darkness while lighting the way for the viewer?” Your choice. Your perspective as change is inevitable and it is how we experience the change that gives the best results.
The month through which the sign of Pisces travels in the Northern Hemisphere often shows the first signs of spring as brave flowers and greenery peak through the snow-covered field. An act of bravery that often ends in surrender, this is the part of the year when we filter away and wash away the challenges of the prior year that began in the March prior. Pisces is the sign through which all the clutter of the prior year is collected, sorted, and discarded. I can say this because I am a Pisces — this is the ‘toxic waste management’ part of our year.😊 What can you discard that lightens your load?
With Mercury’s recent retrograde and direct motion on Saturday February 20, what is it in your life, in your home , in the way you interact with others that does not serve you anymore. What part of your life is going away for which you are grateful, but which is not part of the next phase? Interesting fact, in the Esoteric school of Astrology, Pluto (the god of the Underworld, death and rebirth and transformation, was the ruler of Pisces! It makes complete sense since Pisces falls at the ‘end’ of the zodiac and is the cosmic processing agent of the wheel.
This coming Saturday I am presenting a very comprehensive 6-hour online workshop on all the parts of our lives we are balancing at the same time in the current economic and psychological climate. Historical events and how they relate to the present time will be presented one at a time and then gathered to pinpoint timing for big change.
Following is the registration information:

Down the Rabbit Hole: Where are we going and when will we get out?
In 2021, transiting Saturn will be in a Last Quarter square to transiting Uranus. This will happen at three different times during the year on February 17, June 14, and December 24, 2021 ranging between 7° Aquarius and Taurus through 13° of Aquarius and Taurus. Saturn conjuncts Uranus every 45 years. The last conjunction of these two planets was in 1988 at 29° Sagittarius. It is often referred to as the Galactic Center where change takes place at lightning speed.
Georgia Stathis will be discussing some of the changes that she thinks could be coming with these new cycles. There are the issues of stock markets being volatile and collapsing and then coming back in a moment’s notice, this is very typical of hard aspects between Saturn and Uranus . But every problem offers a solution and that is the approach Georgia will take when she presents her class.
