Today Mercury and the Sun are lined up. This offers an intelligent perspective to an ongoing work or commerce challenge. If you’ve been pondering on ‘how’ to do something, this week offers a way in which to work out a blueprint for the idea. The Last Quarter Moon continues through Thursday February 11 when we begin the new monthly cycle with the New Moon at 23◦ Aquarius.
Thursday’s New Moon is preceded by a lovely alignment between Venus, the goddess of beauty and love and Jupiter, the god of opportunity. In fact, this week has many of the faster moving planets all flying through Aquarius offering social connections with a few tiny confrontations as Mars is in the mix as well.
This suggests there could be a lot of misdirects, some impetuous responses or irritation that is best settled by taking a step back before acting out or acting up. Think before you get into that confrontation. Remember Venus is part of this equation and offers opportunities for diplomacy in the heat of the moment. Diplomacy works better than direct confrontation unless all else fails. Venus almost always gets what ‘she’ wants since she is very fixed on what she wants and will do what is necessary to achieve that goal. She is also exceptionally good at putting people together and helping them come to a compromise that works for both sides.
If asked for an answer, ask to take some time to decide. Intuition is excellent if you just listen to it and if there are any ‘red flags’, then don’t provide answers until you have gathered more information regarding the matter at hand. This avoids arguments until more time passes and the week could unravel itself as Mercury begins to go direct (Saturday February 20).
I would also say that there could be some marvelous opportunities for bonding with others and joining a new group in your community with which you share the same values or interests. The positive side of all this Aquarian energy is that it is community oriented. It does well when skills and talents are pooled to create something quite beautiful. It can also be somewhat autocratic in its darker moments and we have a lot of that in the world today and in these last few years. Focusing on your community and sharing and helping others is the better choice.
You can do a lot with community online now. Things don’t just have to stop because of the never-ending isolation resulting from the pandemic. There are virtual museums and art galleries to walk through, there are live Broadway plays to watch, book clubs (we have one available at the Hellenic National Museum for online participation), there are local community share sites like ‘Buy Nothing’ on Facebook for your specific community.
Buy Nothing sells nothing to each other in the group — it just offers free items that will be discarded in your local neighborhood. If you want it, you just tell the person listing it you are interested. No money is exchanged, and one household is cleared of something no longer needed or used and another is given something they can use.
What else is available in your community? A good month to find out. A good way to share the ‘love’…Happy Valentines Day to you all.
In two weeks, I am presenting a 6-hour online workshop to the NCGR group in Miami:
NCGR Florida: Down the Rabbit Hole
February 20, 2021, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm EST
Down the Rabbit Hole: Where are we going and when will we get out?
In 2021, transiting Saturn will be in a Last Quarter square to transiting Uranus. This will happen at three different times during the year on February 17, June 14, and December 24, 2021 ranging between 7° Aquarius and Taurus through 13° of Aquarius and Taurus. Saturn conjuncts Uranus every 45 years. The last conjunction of these two planets was in 1988 at 29° Sagittarius. It is often referred to as the Galactic Center where change takes place at lightning speed.
Georgia Stathis will be discussing some of the changes that she thinks could be coming with these new cycles. There are the issues of stock markets turning down and then coming back in a moment’s notice, this is very typical of hard aspects between Saturn and Uranus . But every problem offers a solution and that is the approach Georgia will take when she presents her class. Seating is limited for this event, so please register early.
Registration: $50, open now at https://astrologyfla.com/event/georgia-stathis-rabbit-hole/
