Mercury is still retrograde in Scorpio. On Tuesday October 27, it moves back to Libra along with Venus entering Libra. This affords a more diplomatic conversation between our professional as well as personal relationships if we are willing to talk about the issues of personal responsibility. The ‘big’ elephant in the middle of the room in our lives is often the issue of personal responsibility. Several slow-moving planets have been traveling through Capricorn, which is about being self-responsible, maturing and moving past adolescent behaviors. Granted, it isn’t a lot of fun, but it is necessary for the building up of solid foundations for plans and ideas.
Be mindful as you move towards the 31st which is, of course, Halloween, but also a Full Moon at 9◦ Taurus and 9◦ Scorpio where things can get a little out of hand. Full Moons are when the earth is between the Sun and the Moon, like a gigantic cosmic rubber band that creates internal tensions. Since Uranus is lined up with this Full Moon, it is particularly important to ‘think’ before you get on the phone or respond to peers or friends. Think before you get in the car in anger or frustration. Think, think, and wait and then think some more.
I don’t think there will be much trick or treating this year for the children, which is too bad, because it is one of their favorite holidays, but hanging out with people we love and trust and with whom we can safely socially distance and with whom we can laugh with is a big part of this holiday! And remember, Sunday November 1, we begin Daylight Saving Time in those states in the USA that do this. We get to move the clocks back one hour giving us more sleep time, which many of us need right now, with all the upheaval of Mars retrograde (STILL) in Aries.
