Saturn, which has been retrograde since May 11, starts going direct this week. I love these weeks! Saturn is direct at 25◦ Capricorn on Tuesday September 29. The next day, October 1, is a Full Moon at 9◦ Aries. With the Sun in Libra, which wants to ‘get along’ and with the Moon in Aries near Mars, there could be tensions in the air.
The issue with Saturn going direct is that Saturn rules governments, structures, rules, laws, and structure. Also, October 2 through 4 happens to be the last 90-day trigger dates after the last eclipse of last summer that happened on the chart of the USA on July 4, 2020. This last of the three 90-day trigger dates, especially after that eclipse that hit the USA chart and its Sun, which rules its leaders, may bring some unsuspecting surprises particularly with this Full Moon. Some decisions may be made that set off some extreme responses by the public.
The three eclipses that took place last summer, all of which activated in September and now, this week, are at the same degrees they were in the summer of 2001 on the USA chart. They also hit those same degrees in 1993, 1982 and 1974. Since eclipses are like DNA strands and return to the same position every 19 years, they move us up the ladder of awareness — at least that is the hope — that we evolve from experience. This is what eclipses offer us especially if they take place in a nation’s chart.
There are a couple more eclipses this year but not until late November and mid-December and more will be discussed when those weeks arrive. For now, this week, be mindful of information as well as misinformation. While Venus is in Leo, try to take a few breaks and have a little fun to relieve some of tensions during this week’s news. At the end of this week, Venus enters Virgo a more reserved sign and a sign that finds great pleasure in working, organizing, and processing.
Sunday October 4, Pluto goes direct at 22◦ Capricorn! Pluto goes direct every year and the days, preceding it and immediately following it, we make big choices that require courage and bold risks. Many secrets are revealed. Pluto is the lord of the underworld who had all the wealth, secrets and had control over life and death. Pluto is powerful and wants to express itself in the form of taking old forms and making them into new forms. Positive ways to filter this energy include remodeling, making new things from the old and outworn, or, reuse. Old pieces of furniture can be transformed as can rooms and their uses. Pluto loves it when we bring things back to life. If you do something along these lines, the energies disperse in a more positive and productive way.
