Making the right choices is always a challenge. When Venus is opposite Pluto, we deal with this. Oppositions are as far apart in a circle that two planets can get, 180◦. After that, the distance reduces as does the stress of the opposition often feels like a Full Moon pulling us in two different directions. Decisions must be made. Pluto is about choosing. It is also about recognizing power struggles and working at resolving them so a more powerful change can take place.
The week is exacerbated with another opposition which also began yesterday. Mercury, representing communications, had an opposition with Neptune and can make communications foggy. It is always good to let the aspect separate so the fog lifts. More light shines in on the Full Moon on September 1 at 10◦ Pisces and 10◦ Virgo. The Full Moon also happens to be the trigger date for the eclipse that happened on June 5, 2020 (some 90 days prior). Trigger dates are dates when we see the shadow and the confusion of the eclipse from prior months suddenly come into the light offering a new perspective. We can decide more clearly what direction to take.
There are two more 90-day trigger dates for the 2020 June and July eclipse this month happening between September 17 to 20 and in early October. Get ready for some surprises, revelations (particularly with all these oppositions) that will, I hope, offer further clarity. Uranus is aspecting the Sun in Virgo in a positive way and ideas may come in like lightning bolts. I like this combination — it presents alternatives to one’s thinking. Those new ideas might be edgier, have a fresher perspective and incorporate two different ideas into a brand new one. As Venus opposes Saturn (one more opposition on Wednesday September 2) we focus and complete a part that helps build on a new long-term plan.
