The week begins with transiting Jupiter (good fortune and protection) in a lovely aspect to Neptune, which has much to do with spiritual insight and imagination. I love imagination, it is the ‘thing’ that takes us out of ourselves when our real lives begin to feel limited like now. Sometimes we must move outside ourselves and this aspect allows for that. You can access this energy by stepping away from the mundane — your computer, television and phone and go for a walk without listening to anything but the sound of nature. That aspect offers a few moments of internal peace setting things right.
At the same time, Venus, who is associated with agreements and cooperation in relationships, is aspecting Neptune and that sometimes brings confusion regarding one’s primary relationships. It can also offer opportunities where you can receive assistance from others who care for you. This aspect may also offer time to get the needed space mentioned above. If conversations become heated over the course of the next two days, just step away and let the harder aspect between Mercury (Communication) and Mars (agitator) pass. Sometimes we just need to step away.
As the week continues, Venus gets back to where she was retrograde back on May 13! Yes, you got it right. Though Venus went direct at 5◦ Gemini on June 25, it has taken a little over one more month for her to catch up to where she was back on May 13! This is called the shadow position of Venus where she gets back in the saddle to solve problems in a very Gemini way, while seeing both sides of the issues and coming to some sort of agreement. The timing is perfect because by Thursday July 30 Mercury and Neptune (thought and imagination) are in a lovely aspect to each other and the possible discords or confusion that began the week begin to find resolution. This is an excellent time to get those contracts signed where everyone agrees with a couple of small codicils that might arise on Saturday August 1. This could simply be about forgetting to put in a clause, or, restate something that was just discovered.
