The week begins with the Sun opposite Saturn (a focus transit). Its effects last for one or two days. We can get things done on Sun/Saturn aspects because we focus and don’t allow distractions to get us sidetracked. Since the Sun is still in watery Cancer, the emotionality of these last few weeks along with the Mercury retrograde which was also in Cancer begins to lift a bit as the Sun enters the sign of Leo on July 22. This offers a lot more zip and fire that aids in drying up some of the excessive emotion experienced when the Sun traveled through Cancer. As the week continues, the Sun and Mars work hand in hand to keep the energy going.
I think it will also give us more energy and supports motivation to get out and move a bit more since fire energy really likes to move. This is also a week where ‘sparks’ of ideas take hold offering more spontaneity on July 22. Since Mercury and Uranus (the wizard and the out of the box thinker) are in a good aspect to each other, this combo often brings insight on a workaround for your idea. This idea is something you may have tried to flesh out for weeks now, and this combination aspect can give you the idea you need.
Between now and early September there is a window in which to get things done. We are fortunate that the month of August is always when the Sun is in Leo, a creative sign, and a great window of opportunity for getting things done. There will be more delays or sidetracking going on between September 9 all the way out to November 13, so ‘make hay now while the sun shines’ literally!
