Micro-Forecast: February 3 to 9, 2020

February 3, 2020

It is interesting to watch the skies when transiting Mars is in late degrees Sagittarius, where it is until the 16th or 17th of this month. Actually, interesting might be too light a word, since Mars is not always the calmest of energies and now that it is completing its cycle in Sagittarius, getting closer and closer to the Galactic Center, things may move at a very rapid pace over the course of the next ten days.

Since Mars is moving opposite the USA Mars in the seventh house of the July 4, 1776 chart, get ready for some big surprises internationally that we may not see coming or for change to come at a very rapid pace. By the way, this doesn’t necessarily mean a bad thing — it could be a house cleaning of sorts politically or a confrontation between industries or markets.

There is a Full Moon on Saturday February 8 in Leo and Aquarius. This heightens tensions as the week unfolds with the primary issue being the fact that on Monday February 3, the planet Mercury just entered Pisces for a few weeks, which doesn’t usually encourage concrete and clear communication with each other. This is important to know. So much is going on inside of you that you may ‘think’ you communicated something to a loved one or a trusted colleague, when in fact, you might have dropped the end of the sentence, but continued the thought in your mind! Yes, this is Mercury in Pisces. If you are fortunate enough to be intuitive or psychic, this may not be as much of a problem, but in the world of communication with people, this can be a challenge. It is important to check our worry at the door as Mercury in Pisces can be somewhat worrisome and the fact that Mercury at 00º Pisces on Monday is slowing down as it begins its retrograde position between February 16 and March 9.

The suggestion is that if you are working on contracts or agreements, this IS the time to hammer out one’s vision of how you want a contract to be, but with Mars moving closer and closer to the harrowing Galactic Center within ten days, it is important to keep your cool as well. Friday, as Venus finishes up in the last degree of Pisces, it may feel as though something is falling apart, perhaps because no one is communicating very well with others. On Friday afternoon, Venus enters Aries, a better place for a more pioneering or adventurous idea that may require combining an old agreement with a newer out of the box idea as it aligns with Chiron. This along with the Full Moon on Saturday and Sunday might mean — take a little time off, step away from the problem, and revisit it first thing next week.
