Micro-Forecast: April 6 to 12, 2026

April 6, 2026

This week, Mars moves out of Pisces and into Aries, its home sign and the first sign of the zodiac, on Thursday, April 9, at 3:36 PM Eastern time. Mars in Aries is known for kickstarting action and boosting confidence, so you may feel a burst of motivation or determination. In the days just before this transition—April 4 and 5—Mars crosses a fixed star called Scheat. Scheat is associated in astrology with unpredictable events and challenges, so it’s common to see sudden news, surprises, or shifts during this period. You might hear about people breaking free from restrictions or limitations (sometimes referred to as “bondage” in astrological terms), experience disruptive weather, or witness unexpected actions by others. Some choices this week may be wise and others impulsive, so how you respond will influence whether outcomes are positive or negative.

As Mars continues its journey through Aries, track April 13 (just before tax day), and also when Mars forms a conjunction with Neptune. The Mars-Neptune conjunction tends to diffuse tensions, encourage intuition, and promote creative thinking, so if you’re facing a tricky situation, it may resolve more gently than expected. Later, on April 18 to 19, Mars meets Saturn—this Mars-Saturn conjunction tests your resolve and asks for discipline and patience, making it a suitable time to stick with your goals and avoid rash decisions. I’ll share more details about these influences next week, but for now, remember thinking before acting and checking your impulses can help you create better outcomes.

The choices you make at the end of this week matter. Taking a moment to consider your options before jumping in and being mindful of how you express yourself—even when tempted to react impulsively—will set the stage for more positive results next week. On April 9, Mercury (the planet of communication and planning) finally returns to the spot in Pisces where it began its recent retrograde. This means projects, plans, and communications that felt stalled or chaotic earlier in the month will start gaining traction again. However, it’s wise not to rush in all at once. Instead, review your progress so far, notice what’s working, and see where you might need to fine-tune things.

If you’d like to deepen your understanding of these astrological influences and how stories and myths shape our zodiac signs, I invite you to join me for a class at Midwest School of Astrology in Cincinnati from April 23 to April 25. This session, “Myths and Stories of the Zodiac,” is designed for beginners and will be offered live and online. If you’re interested in learning more or want to sign up, please visit this link to ask about the class.

Whether you’re new to astrology or looking to expand your knowledge, this is a wonderful way to connect the forecast to practical learning and personal growth. There are several classes I have taught – many of which are currently online for you download and learn from. I also want to thank all of you who have been buying my book: Suddenly in these last few weeks, we’ve sold so many, I had to have my son send copies out to me in Florida to fill the many orders. This book, for those of you who do not know it, covers ALL of the synodic cycles (when two planets come together forming a completely new cycles). They vary in timing, some are as quick as two years, others as slow as 400+ years. The book covers all of them with many illustrations to follow along. As you know, I love to provide visuals for my students and this book is not short of visuals so you can clearly see the developing cycles, their particular nomenclature historically and dates when things shifted. I offer online classes covering topics such as planetary cycles, astrological forecasting, and personal growth, all available for download. Whether you’re new to astrology or looking to deepen your understanding, these courses provide practical ways to connect forecasts to your own learning journey. You can browse and access them here.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has bought my book, Pushing Through Time: Synodic Cycles and Their Developing Phases. The response these past few weeks has truly touched me—so many copies have found new homes that I even had to ask my son to send more to Florida just to keep up! For people who might be new here, this book dives into all the synodic cycles—those powerful moments when two planets come together and begin a brand-new cycle. Some of these cycles are as brief as two years, while others stretch out for over 400 years. I included plenty of illustrations to help you visualize each cycle, understand its historical background, and pinpoint the key transition dates. As always, I’m passionate about making learning visual and accessible, and sharing these resources with you brings me so much joy.

Speaking of new phases, I’ve also been working on a memoir, which has been a deeply rewarding process. Thank you for being such an engaged and supportive audience—your enthusiasm inspires me to keep teaching and exploring astrology with you. Sharing these experiences and resources together truly lights me up. Recently, someone left a kind comment on my YouTube channel: “Georgia, so glad you are back.” I want to share that, in truth, I haven’t been away—just quietly contemplating my next steps. That kind of deep reflection often comes when Saturn and Neptune align with your Moon in astrology—a time associated with inner exploration and creative renewal. Writing this memoir has brought so many memories and wonderful people back to life for me, and it’s been a meaningful journey, whether I ever publish it or not. I just wanted you to know how much your support means to me during this time. And at the rate I am going, my writing coach tells me I could write several 😊 We will see.
