The key date to watch this week is Wednesday when Mars crosses the Total Lunar Eclipse point from March 3, 2026. This can light things up, set off chain reactions, bring hidden masked issues to the surface and is significant because Mars often signals upcoming separations or the severing of connections. In the sign of Pisces, Mars’s influence can manifest as problems related to oil, oceans, plumbing, water systems, and shipping. You might encounter issues with pipelines, rising shipping costs, or disruptions in freight services or water issues or things found in water – that is not potable. Additionally, confusion in military direction or operations could make headlines.
Alongside Mars’s activity, Mercury is retrograde in Pisces until March 20, when it goes direct and coincides with the spring equinox. Things may suddenly be revealed and come to the surface finally separating itself from the confusion of this last month. This planetary position may lead to misinformation and difficulty finding clarity in your plans. However, it is also an ideal time to pause, rethink, and explore creative approaches for new projects this spring. You may feel overwhelmed by juggling several important tasks, which could prompt you to let go of one responsibility while seeking help from a specialist or assistant- an excellent insight that comes after a lot of re-thinking. By delegating, you free up your time and energy to focus on what you do best. Getting support opens up space for creativity, allowing you to try new ways to improve your business, life, or environment. With Jupiter recently moving direct in the middle degrees of Cancer, you may become more aware of the value in expert assistance, helping you move forward with greater speed and clarity and finding that someone you’ve been looking for to meet this challenge now appears. In summary, this week encourages you to seek expert guidance and stay open to creative solutions as you navigate possible confusion. This week, consider reaching out for expert advice or delegating tasks so you can focus on your strengths and pursue creative solutions with renewed energy.
Before I close, though, here’s a thought. Pisces is often associated with the comedy and tragedy masks, which fit current trends in film and popular culture—films are both ruled by Neptune and Pisces. Lately, several films and series on platforms like Netflix are exploring the theme of masks we wear, wish to wear, or believe we are wearing, all used to shield us from judgment or the feeling that we aren’t good enough. For example, the series Beauty explores the masks people wear to achieve stardom. These masks can threaten one’s existence and lead to potential peril. A similar theme appears in the older series Who is Erin Carter, which follows a woman who is not who she seems. An upcoming film, Slant, examines what is considered acceptable in beauty standards and the lengths people go to fit in. Last year’s film Substance, starring Demi Moore, also tackled these themes. And currently on PBS (Public Broadcasting) is the series that revisits the Alexander Dumas novel called the Count of Monte Cristo – who to reap its vengeance, must maintain a mask of who he really is to accomplish his goals.
All of these releases coincide with the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. In the early 1950s, as the Saturn/Neptune conjunction began and became official in 1952, the Lone Ranger series about a mysterious masked man became one of the most popular shows on television. In 1989, we saw blockbusters like Batman with Michael Keaton and Ghost, featuring Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, and Glory, starring Matthew Broderick and Denzel Washington, about the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment—the first Black regiment of the Union that attacks Fort Wagner and whose courage led to broader acceptance of Black soldiers in the Union Army helping turn the tide of the Civil War. These recurring themes of masks and identity in popular culture mirror the astrological influences at play now, highlighting our collective struggle with authenticity during this period. The question to ask ourselves is: Am I authentic? With Saturn now moving past Neptune, the question may be more easily answered in these next few months. With that said, you may wish to ponder that question this week…Am I authentic? As well as what mask do I use to hide or protect my true self? And…What if I drop the mask? Then what? My best, Georgia
