Micro-Forecast: December 1 to 7, 2025

December 1, 2025

Here’s what’s happening in the stars this week—and some exciting news to share!

First, Mercury is now moving forward! Over the weekend, Mercury went direct at 20° Scorpio. In astrology, when a planet goes “direct,” it means it’s no longer appearing to move backward (retrograde) in the sky. This shift helps clear up confusion and gets things moving again. If you lost something, struggled to finish projects, or felt stuck since Mercury began its retrograde on November 9, 2025, you’ll likely see things gradually resolve as Mercury retraces its steps and catches up by December 18.

This week is extra special because we have a Full Moon on December 4. What makes this Full Moon important? It falls exactly 90 days after the September TOTAL Lunar Eclipse at 15° Pisces 22’. (In astrology, “15° Pisces 22’” simply means the event happened at that position in the sky, measured in degrees within the sign Pisces.)

If you have what astrologers call “mutable planets”—which means that when you were born, you had planets in the middle degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces—this Full Moon could bring clarity. You might finally understand something that’s been unclear for a while. (Mutable signs are known for their flexibility and adaptability, and having planets in these signs often means you experience change and growth in unique ways.)

Because this Full Moon arrives 90 days after a TOTAL Lunar Eclipse—which often signals big shifts for people and the world—you may notice sudden changes or “mini-revolutions” around you or even globally. You might also gain new insights from recent events in your personal life.

The good news: Venus entered Sagittarius on Sunday. Venus is the planet of love and harmony. In Sagittarius, Venus helps us see the bright side and let go of what’s weighing us down, which can be a little easier than when Venus is in Scorpio. While change isn’t always easy, the energy this week supports positive outcomes. Try to look for the unseen benefit in whatever comes your way!

On a personal note, I’m excited to share a bit of news. I just learned that Astrology Hub will be hosting an event on January 9 and 10, 2026, at the San Ramon Marriott Hotel in San Ramon, California. I’ll be presenting a workshop about eclipses on Sunday, January 10 (details coming soon). I hope some of you can join me there!

Now, I’d love to hear from you. Have you noticed any changes since Mercury turned direct? Did the last eclipse or this week’s Full Moon spark any new insights or shifts in your life? Please share your experiences—I always enjoy reading your stories and learning how these cosmic events touch your lives.
