Micro-Forecast: November 24 to 30, 2025

November 24, 2025

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. This is the time to be thankful and grateful to what we each do have – the friends and relatives to whom we have close relationships and to those colleagues and helpers who collaborate with us making each of our lives better. Being grateful is particularly important. In a continuing climate of grief, sadness, and disappointments, Thanksgiving offers each of us an opportunity to look through our past year and remember all those little, wonderful things we experienced with those we care for. I like the fact that we have a bit more time to let those good thoughts come into our hearts. I am so grateful to all of my readers over these many years who have been supportive, loyal, and wonderful.

With Thanksgiving day’s Saturn going direct at 25° Pisces 09’ and transiting Mercury going direct on Saturday November 29, Mercury goes direct as well at 20° Scorpio 42’, lots of new movement in positive directions should take place in the next week.

For me, I am going with my adult children and two very dear friends of mine for an adventure at Death Valley. All the years I have lived in California, I have never been down there and my friends have been there several times and told me you have to go see it – and I’m making the time to go and enjoy my family and friends and be grateful for this little break in the action.

A funny thing about that, when I was little, there was a program on our tiny black and white fish lens television called Death Valley Days (a weekly serial about cowboys and their stories). I remember that well and how they advertised the Twenty Mule Team Boraxo (a cleaning powder) in all the commercials. The 20 Mule Team event is often done as an annual event in Death Valley from what I understand.

As I recall, Boraxo was then in a white tin with a black round cap and black writing. It was a rough powder with which you washed your hands. As I got older and became a chemistry student in my first year of high school (I loved Chemistry), one of the experiments was taking Boraxo with something else and putting a flame to it. It created a kind of blue glass bead. Yup, I was doing that in my basement with my little Chemistry kit – and at 13 years of age (I was skipped) thank goodness my parents never found out and there were not fires and for that I was and still am really grateful! Happy Thanksgiving dear friends.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. This is the time to be thankful for what we have—our friends and relatives with whom we share close relationships, as well as the colleagues and helpers who make our lives better. Gratitude is especially important. In a world that often feels filled with grief, sadness, and disappointments, Thanksgiving gives us a chance to reflect on the past year and remember the small, wonderful moments we’ve shared with those we care about. I appreciate having a little extra time to let those positive thoughts fill my heart. I am deeply grateful to all my readers who have supported me, remained loyal, and been wonderful over the years.

For those who follow astrology, Saturn and Mercury going direct are believed to signal a period of forward momentum and positive change. On Thanksgiving Day, Saturn goes direct at 25° Pisces 09’, and Mercury follows by turning direct at 20° Scorpio 42’ on Saturday, November 29. These shifts suggest that positive movement and new opportunities may emerge in the week ahead. Maybe we will get some positive government communications.

This year, I’m heading to Death Valley with my adult children and two very dear friends at Thanksgiving. Even though I’ve lived in California for years, I’ve never visited Death Valley. My friends have often told me it’s a place I must see, so I’m available to enjoy this adventure with family and friends. I’m grateful for this little break in the action.

Thinking back, when I was a child, I used to watch a program called Death Valley Days on our tiny black and white television. It was a weekly cowboy serial, and I remember the commercials for Twenty Mule Team Boraxo, a cleaning powder. The 20 Mule Team event is still held annually in Death Valley, from what I understand.

Boraxo came in a white tin with a black cap and black lettering. It was a gritty powder used for washing hands. Later, when I became a chemistry student in high school, I remember experimenting with Boraxo—combining it with other ingredients and heating it to create a blue glass bead. I used my little chemistry kit in the basement at 13 years old (I had skipped a grade). Thankfully, my parents never found out, and there were no fires! For that, I am—and always will be—profoundly grateful😊 Happy Thanksgiving, dear friends.
