Micro-Forecast: November 10 to 16, 2025

November 10, 2025

Retrogrades, retrogrades, and more retrogrades. In this last week of November, on the seventh, transiting Uranus retrograded back to Taurus, where it will remain between November 7, 2025, and April 25, 2026. This period marks the final months of Uranus’ return to Taurus—a sign associated with money, security, finances, and personal values. Uranus, known for representing extremes and sudden changes, brings jarring and at times uncomfortable energy to these areas. As Uranus moves through the last degrees of Taurus, issues of security, costs, and values may reach a breaking point, potentially prompting people to take drastic actions—such as boycotts or demands for reform—to restore balance. This planetary placement may also intersect with government matters: in astrological terms, when Uranus occupies the Capricorn sector (last ten degrees of Taurus), it is believed to influence governmental structures and authority, highlighting possible impacts on public policies or administrative systems.

Building on these planetary shifts, Mercury, the planet of travel, communication, and problem-solving—went retrograde on Sunday at 6° Sagittarius 51’. Sagittarius is known for its bluntness and tendency to speak without a filter, which can lead to impulsive remarks that are difficult to retract. The combination of Mercury retrograding from Sagittarius back to the late degrees of Scorpio, alongside Uranus at the final degrees of Taurus, may set the stage for explosive arguments or the breakdown of agreements that lack stability. This is a time when misunderstandings can escalate quickly, and emotional cues may be missed, making patience and thoughtful communication especially important.

Further intensifying the atmosphere, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Jupiter in Cancer also begins its retrograde at 25° Cancer 09’. Jupiter’s retrograde occurs in a confrontational aspect to Chiron in late Aries, amplifying tensions and bringing underlying wounds to the surface. To illustrate, consider the story of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” In this tale, the emperor is deceived by con artists who claim only special people can see the clothes they’ve made for him. Eventually, a child innocently declares, “But he has no clothes!”—a moment of revelation that exposes the truth. Similarly, these astrological alignments can create moments of awakening and clarity, where illusions are shattered and realities are laid bare.

As these cosmic influences unfold, it’s worth noting that Veterans Day, a federal holiday honoring those who have served in the U.S. military, falls on November 11. The ongoing square between retrograde Jupiter and Chiron may function as a metaphorical “fourth wall,” exposing hidden or unresolved issues within the military or government—particularly in light of recent controversial deployments.

As Mercury retrogrades from Sagittarius on November 9 and goes back into Scorpio on November 21 and goes direct on November 29 at 20° Scorpio 42’, it stands in opposition to Uranus’ revolutionary energy in Taurus. This opposition suggests that late November through mid-December could bring about a significant turning point, like a climactic moment in a novel—where many people collectively awaken to economic challenges, such as recession risks and debates over tariffs and funding for essential agencies. The astrological picture points to a period of reckoning and the need for thoughtful, collective action to restore stability. Maybe the Supreme Court will even change a few of their rulings – or at least we can hope.
