Memorial Day starts with the New Moon (new beginning cycle) at 6° Gemini 06’. The New Moon always starts the lunar month and wherever Gemini is in your chart, you start thinking about many options and ways to solve problems and figure out the best way to get a task done. Gemini is the sign of commerce, trade, selling, writing, editing, and traveling. The New Moon is in a nice trine to transiting Pluto — so being selective about what you want and what you have time for is very important. You may have so many options thrown at you at one time it could be difficult to decide your priorities rendering you somewhat scattered and ultimately getting nothing done.
Use the intelligence and problem-solving capabilities of the New Moon in Gemini to triage what is important and what you can delegate to others. Delegating is the big lesson with Saturn in Aries until at least the end of the year. It is difficult to delegate to others what you know you do extraordinarily well. Saturn in Aries just wants to get moving especially after all the foggy and confusing energies between December and April. Still, asking the right questions and more importantly listening to answers with both your ears along with your instincts are crucial right now.
Finding the right people means researching their skillsets, their references, and others’ opinions of how they were at their former positions or jobs. Just because a resume looks good, or an individual presents well, doesn’t mean they can offer you what you really need now that you are in this new startup phase. Mercury is very active this week as it trines Pluto on Tuesday (good for research and writing) along with Mercury lining up with the Sun in Gemini on Friday May 30. These positive aspects move you further along in your process.
Fortunate opportunities are present on both Wednesday and Thursday – at first, your create a concept, then, you ask more questions to research options. Allow your subconscious some time for incubating information you’ve received. By Monday June 2, at the beginning of the First Quarter phase of the lunar month, the structure begins to form so that you act.
