Micro-Forecast: August 10 to 16, 2009

Time to finish things up this week as Mars and Saturn are in square to each other, creating ‘building blocks’ for future structures — both physical and virtual. This occurs on the 10th and is followed by the Last Quarter Moon, the ‘winding down’ moon of each month. Following these dates several planets are opposing one another. Oppositions are 180° aspects and like rubber bands of energy are stretched out as far as they can be stretched requiring one to let go of something, or, snap!

Since one of the ‘rubber bands’ of energy are between the Sun and Chiron, which occurs only once a year, confrontations on the home front with male figures — fathers, male bosses, male acquaintances or colleagues may find you standing across the table with a request that is tough to make. However, if you don’t ask for help, you won’t get it. No one gets it by osmosis. There is a good chance you can prepare for the situation on the 16th by starting on the 14th, when opponents are more amenable. Those prepared prosper. Be dressed for the party.
